TRESTLE OVERNIGHT
Trestle Brewing Company is an independently owned craft brewery in development in downtown Parry Sound on the waterfront. The property is located at 9 Great North Road backing onto the river and has spectacular views looking towards Parry Sound’s iconic CPR Trestle bridge and Georgian Bay.
The 4000 sq. ft facility is currently under construction – opening in 2018 – and will include a taproom serving year round beer offerings brewed on site as well as other seasonal special beers throughout the year. The taproom will feature local foods that pair well with our beers. The open concept design connects the brewhouse area on one end through our taproom/retail area, out onto our waterfront patio on the other end.
Nestled on the rugged shores of Canada’s largest fresh water archipelago, Parry Sound is home to some of the best sea kayaking in the nation. Check out White Squall Paddling Centre and the Ontario Sea Kayak Centre for rentals and clinics to try this serene paddling experience. Explore the shipwrecks, light houses and ghost towns that dot Georgian Bay’s eastern shores. Whether by sail, motorboat, canoe, kayak or plane, make your way to your own secluded cove or tie up at a full service slip with provisions and attractions nearby.
From Parry Sound harbour you can set out along the region’s famous shoreline aboard the cruise ship Island Queen or get a birds-eye-view of this remarkable ecosystem during a flight with Georgian Bay Airways. You can take a guided fishing expedition with Georgian Bay Marina or spend the day visiting the makers of Parry Sound and their shops that offer products “Made in Parry Sound.”
